1. What type of Products can I Purchase?
DukaShops.com offer a wide variety of free and paid tangible and non-tangible products. We offer a wide variety of electronics, fashion, phone accessories, computer electronics, toys and more!
2. How do I Pay?
We can accept Credit Card (VISA, MasterCard), USSD Transfer Code, Direct Bank Transfer. Your credit card will be charged when you place your order. If we are not able to fulfill your order for any reason your credit card will be refunded.
3. What is the Shipping Time?
Products are only shipped to your confirmed div. Please make sure your shipping div is correct and/or rather negotiate with the seller before purchase. Most orders will be shipped out within 7-45 business days upon payment confirmation depending on whether the item is shipped from overseas or shipped locally and the type of shipping company (for example, a package shipped from and within Nigeria will arrive within 3 days; a package shipped from overseas by DHL will arrive within 7 days but if shipped from overseas by Nipost will arrive within 45 days). So shipping normally takes 7 to 45 business days. Most of the items will be delivered in 1 week or 6 weeks, while there will be a delay for something we can not control (such as bad weather). If it happens, just contact the seller, he or she will help you check and resolve any problem.
4. What is the Shipping Way?
We support world-famous Express company (DHL, UPS, Fedex, EMS, TNT and Local Transporters), faster and safer by airline. If you have your own shipping way & agent, please contact the seller.
5. How do I Track my Shipping Product?
The seller will leave the tracking number on your order after he or she shipped the package. You can check your package after 3-10 days (Because it will take about 3-10 days for delivery company to upload the checking information on their web).

7. How can I get in touch if I have a problem with my order?
Please contact the seller first to resolve a problem with your order if that fails then you can contact DukaShops support team or in extreme cases report the seller using the Report button and we will help resolve the issue between the buyer and the seller.
8. Will my order arrive all in one parcel?
Sometimes you will receive your order in one parcel and in one day, other times you will receive your order in more than one parcel and on different days; this entirely depends on the supplier or manufacturer.  
9. Custom Duty & Issue?
Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges should be borne by the buyer. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying & import or export.
10. Customer Service
Customer satisfaction is exactly our standard and most important to us! Please feel free to contact the seller if you are not satisfied with the product and purchase. Customers are responsible for shipping charges on any returned items. It may take up to 7-45 business days to process your return after the seller receive your product. Feedback is important please take time to leave a positive feedback if you are satisfied with the product and service. You may want to contact the seller first before giving a non positive feedback. Thank you for giving us a chance to make things right by good communication.
11. How do I change my password?
To change your password, login to your account using the app (android device) or website (computer device) www.dukashops.com and visit the "Change password" page! If you have forgotten your password, you can go to the log-in page and click on the "Forgot password?" link.
12. How do I log in and log out of my account?
To log in to your account, simply go to the Log in page [using the app (android device) or website (computer device) www.dukashops.com] by clicking "Log in" or clicking on the image in drawer menu and enter your User name and account password. To log out of your account, simply click the "Log out" option in menu.
13.Why can't I log in to my account?
If you are having trouble logging in to your account, please check that you have:
>> Registered for an account.
>> Entered the correct User name and password on the login page.
>> If you are still having trouble logging in to your account, please contact us.
14. How do I report a seller?
Reporting bad sellers helps keep DukaShops clean and safe for other users. To report an seller that appears to be a scam, spam or otherwise violates our policies, click the "Report" button on the seller's contact page, fill out your details with reasons and submit.
15. I paid for my item with cash but now I can't find the sale in my Purchase history. Am I covered by the DukaShops Money Back Guarantee?
If you didn't use DukaShops checkout to complete the purchase on DukaShops then it won't show up in your Purchase history, and you aren't covered by the DukaShops Money Back Guarantee. Always complete your transactions on DukaShops to ensure you're covered by our protection policies. When a transaction that started out on DukaShops is completed outside of the DukaShops platform, the buyer and seller are no longer covered by DukaShops protection programs and the DukaShops Money Back Guarantee. As such, contacting another DukaShops member to discuss moving a purchase off DukaShops creates a risk of fraud, and is not permitted. If a seller asks you to complete a transaction in another way, please contact us or report that seller.


For Sellers

1. How do I post a product or service?
Posting a product or service on DukaShops app and/or website is quick, easy and completely *free! Simply login or register and submit your details. Then wait for us to make your account a seller account. And as a seller using the app (android device) or website (computer device) www.dukashops.com and click on the "New Product" button in the menu and follow the instructions. Our team review all products and services submitted to the App and/or Website to ensure they are reliable and are free of offensive material. This usually takes about 1 to 5 days. Please note, in some cases, first time sellers' IDs, phone numbers and emails may be verified before accounts are approved and also in some extreme cases sellers must be verified in person before they are flagged as "Verified" in the app or website.
2. How do I delete a product or service?
To delete a product or service, login to your account using the app(android device) or website(computer device) www.dukashops.com and visit the "My Products" page!
3. How do I edit or update a product or service?
To edit or update a product or service, login to your account using the app(android device) or website(computer device) www.dukashops.com and visit the "My Products" page! Please note that our team review all edited or product or service submitted to the App and/or Website to ensure they are reliable and are free of offensive material. This usually takes about 1 to 5 days.
4. How do I change my password?
To change your password, login to your account using the app (android device) or website (computer device) www.dukashops.com and visit the "Change password" page! If you have forgotten your password, you can go to the log-in page and click on the "Forgot password?" link.
5. How long do product or service stay on DukaShops?
Product or service appears for as long as your free subscription or paid subscription, unless you delete them.
6. I posted a product or service but can't find it. What happened?
To make your experience on DukaShops secure and safe as possible, Our team review all product or service submitted to the App and/or Website, it can take up to 1 to 5 days before a product or service is published or live on the app or website. If you still can't find your product or service after 1 to 5 days, it may have violated our posting rules. Try posting again or contact us. Note that you can keep track of your product or service easily by logging in to your account using the app (android device) or website (computer device) www.dukashops.com and visiting the "My Products" page or home page or seller page to search for your product or service. So always check back.
7. Why is my product or service rejected?
Our team review all product or service manually, if your product or service violates our posting rules and/or policies, it will be rejected. Please ensure you read our posting rules and/or policies very well before posting any product or service. In some cases, you can read what changes you have to make before the product or service can be approved in a rejection email.
8. How do I register for a seller account?
Registering for a seller account on DukaShops is quick, easy and completely *free! You can go to the Login page using the app (android device) or website (computer device) www.dukashops.com and fill out your details by clicking the "Register" in menu. Once you have registered, submit your details and Then wait for us to make your account a seller account. We will email your contact email div with information about your account status (Please do check your Email Spam or Inbox for Welcome/Approval messages), we may sometimes also call your contact phone number for verification. We verify all sellers' IDs, contact phone numbers and emails before accounts are approved- this is the first verification. The second verification though in rare cases is when we verify sellers in person before they are flagged as "Verified" in the app or website.
9. How do I log in and log out of my account?
To log in to your account, simply go to the Log in page [using the app (android device) or website (computer device) www.dukashops.com] by clicking "Log in" or clicking on the image in drawer menu and enter your User name and account password. To log out of your account, simply click the "Log out" option in menu.
10. How do I change my account details?
You can change or update your account profile details in My Account page.
11. Why can't I log in to my account?
If you are having trouble logging in to your account, please check that you have:
>> Registered for an account and the account has been approved by us.
>> Entered the correct User name and password on the login page.
>> If you are still having trouble logging in to your account, please contact us.
12. Why do you need to verify my identity?
We verify the identity of every seller on our app and/or website by Gov't issued ID or CAC Certificate before they are flagged as "Verified" or in person in some extreme cases we will contact you to schedule a visit. To become a seller, inidual sellers must upload a valid Gov't issued photo ID which can be a passport, driver’s license, National ID, Voter’s ID, etc and company or business sellers must upload a valid business certificate. Trust is very important, verified sellers gain more trust with our app or website users and may have more sales than unverified sellers.
13. Why am I not flagged as verified agent?
Sellers must be verified by Gov't issued ID or CAC Certificate /or in person before they are flagged as "Verified" in the app or website. In some extreme cases we will contact you to schedule a visit. To become a seller, inidual sellers must upload a valid Gov't issued photo ID which can be a passport, driver’s license, National ID, Voter’s ID, etc and company or business sellers must upload a valid business certificate. Trust is very important, verified sellers gain more trust with our app or website users and may have more sales than unverified sellers.

15. How many product or service can I post?
Sellers can post *unlimited number of product or service for *free - only 1 product or service type per advertisement.
16. What image size and what image type do you accept, landscape or portrait?
Please avoid too large size images and again, we recommend that you use square-like landscape images (e.g, 500 x 500 pixels, 1000 x 1000 pixels, etc.) for all your product or service listings with a white background.
17. How do I delete my account?
To delete your account, simply call or contact us using our contact us page with reason(s) why we should delete your account.
18. What are the commissions on DukaShops?
DukaShops takes a fee of 5% of the transaction, hence, you will only pay the commission on each item you sell.
19. How long does it take to get paid on DukaShops?

If you provide DukaShops with proof of shipment, you can request and expect payments seven days after the delivery date to give time for a buyer to complain.

#What are the posting rules and/or policies?

Apart from the usual policies we have on the app and/or website, there are quite a few more that are designed for posting a product or service in any category. This app and/or website is dedicated to the buying and selling of goods and services in Nigeria. Below are the posting rules:

1. Try to be as accurate as possible. There are a lot of options to choose from when posting a product or service, to cater to people buying and selling. Also, write the correct description, features and benefits as well as sizes, color, brand, used, new, etc. of the product or service to avoid confusing people looking at your listing.
2. Price the product or service correctly.
3. The product or service must be available. If it’s not available yet or it has been sold, login to your account using the app (android device) or website (computer device) www.dukashops.com and update the product or service listing immediately. If the product or service will be shipped from overseas, specify it in the Shipping Info during posting.
4. Make sure you only post one product or service type per ad. And one ad per product or service type. Any duplicate ads will be deleted. If you have more than one product or service, post them in separate ads.
5. When posting a product or service, make sure you select whether you are a inidual seller or a company seller.
6. Keep your product or service listing clean. No phone numbers or prices in the title. There are field for that info. No website links to other product or service websites either. You can put all the info you need to give people about the product or service into the description instead of directing them to other sites.
7. Posting a product or service for sale that is illegal to own, buy or sell in your area of residence is prohibited.
8. Posting duplicate product or service in multiple categories is prohibited.
9. Posting product or service using multiple different email dives is prohibited.
10. Posting product or service that serves no other purpose other than to send traffic to a web site is prohibited.
11. Posting a product or service containing a list of keywords not directly related to the product or service being listed is prohibited.
12. Posting a product or service in languages other than English is prohibited.
13. Posting a product or service that contains adult, mature or erotic content is prohibited.
14. Posting a product or service in an incorrect or misleading category or with misleading information is prohibited.
15. Posting as an Private seller, Owner, or Inidual when you are a Business, Dealer, Company or Professional seller is prohibited.
16. Sellers can post *unlimited number of product or service for free - only 1 product or service type per advertisement.
